How to Accelerate Xbox Games with Host Acceleration

How to Accelerate Xbox Games with Host Acceleration

(1) Cascading method between Xbox and PC

1. Wired cascading

Xbox needs to be connected to the same router as PC through wired connection, and Thor Accelerator needs to be installed on PC in advance..

2. Wireless cascading

Xbox and PC need to be in the same local area network WiFi environment(it is recommended that the PC be directly connected to the router through a network cable to improve network stability), and Thor Accelerator needs to be installed in advance on the PC computer..

Important Notice

  • ① Do not use optical modem or set-top box as a router, as it may cause network connectivity issues.
  • ② If the Xbox and PC dual end wired connection router cannot be achieved due to room structure or condition limitations, you can try using a power modem to solve the wired connection problem and ensure optimal network stability.

(2) PC setup steps

  1. Download and install the latest version of Thunder Accelerator;
  2. Open the accelerator and directly search for "Xbox" to view all games supported on the Xbox platform;
  3. Select the corresponding game that needs to be accelerated and click "one click acceleration";
  4. After successful acceleration, the accelerator will pop up a network configuration prompt. Follow the prompt information to continue with the subsequent Xbox console setup operations.

(3) Xbox setup steps

Pre operation: Click the "Xbox button" in the middle of the controller, and then select "Settings" ->"Network" ->"Network Settings" ->"Advanced Settings".

  1. Set IP: Select [IP Settings] → [Manual], and set the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway in sequence according to the data given after the accelerator acceleration is successful;
  2. Set DNS: Select [DNS Settings] → [Manual], enter 8.8.8.8 for primary IPv4 DNS and 0.0.0.0 for secondary IPv4 DNS;
  3. After setting, return to the previous layer. If the NAT type is displayed as "open" and all services can be used normally, it indicates that the settings are correct and the game can be played normally.

(4) Common problems and solutions

Common problems

  • 1. Xbox console and PC are not on the same LAN, or 2.4G WiFi, 5G WiFi, wired network are mixed;
  • 2. Turn on the isolation function of the router, or directly use the operator's optical modem to access the network;
  • 3. Some operators' LAN devices under optical modem cannot access each other, resulting in cascading failure.

Solution

Let the Xbox console automatically obtain the IP address first, and then enter "ping [Xbox console automatically obtained IP]" through the command prompt on the PC to test the connectivity between devices; If the test fails, it is recommended to check the router configuration (or try replacing the router directly).
